Overview
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has opened online applications for Class 6 admissions for the academic session 2026–27 through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST). The application form started on 30th May 2025 and candidates can apply until 29th July 2025. Admission is based on merit through the entrance test, and no application fee is required.

Eligibility
- Candidate should be resident of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located
- Passed 5th grade exam from government or government-recognized school in the same district
- Must apply for admission in Navodaya school in the same district of residence
